I pinned this recipe years ago and my family has loved it! I stopped making it a while ago due to the discovery of a pea allergy in my family. We have missed it enough that we decided to try making it with a different veggie tonight; however, the recipe has changed… My husband and I have both made this dish and we both thought we were making the wrong recipe because it was so different. It looks like the original recipe has changed a bit. This version is still good, but is there any chance you could send the original recipe to me? The one with instant potatoes and just peas instead of peas and carrots? My family would be so thrilled!

What a lovely site and great recipes! But thought you might want to know that this recipe is for cottage pie. Shepherd’s pie is made with lamb, thus the name.
